The below checklist mirrors LightReach's full internal review process for M2s.

All requirements must be satisfied to achieve M2, and requirements are uniform across our ecosystem.

Each item detailed below features additional links to specific details.

Credit Check

  • Credit can be ran anytime during M0/M1/M2

  • Credit check gathers data, meaning that while credit must be ran for M2, it will not be rejected outside of extenuating circumstances.

  • Must be completed for M2 Activation Milestone

Note: System Must be activated before submitting for M2.

Conditional Approval

If the M1 Installation Package recieved conditional approval:

  • Photos/Deliverables uploaded addressing the Conditional Approval notes

Extended Warranty

  • Extended warranty purchased for inverter(s) without standard 25 year warranty.

  • As of 5/29/25, LightReach will be stepping up to own the SolarEdge warranty application process. As such, the proof of extended warranty coverage for SolarEdge will no longer be required for M2.

    The EPC will still be responsible for the cost of the extended warranty, and LightReach will net the cost of the warranty for the milestone payment prior to batching.
